He received his medical degree and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas before completing a fellowship at the Children\u2019s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He was the Pediatric Otolaryngologist at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston before moving to Atlanta in 1987. He was the first fellowship trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist in the Southeast.
