Dr. Whitley received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, graduating magna cum laude with honors in Microbiology. He then attended Yale University School of Medicine, where he was one of 42 in the nation to receive the prestigious Howard Hughes Research Fellowship. He studied pediatric and adult otolaryngology\u2014head and neck surgery at the University of Miami\/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was Chief Resident. He completed his complex pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at the Children\u2019s Hospital of Philadelphia\/University of Pennsylvania, the No. 1 rated children\u2019s hospital in the world. He has continued his training through endoscopic ear surgery and minimally invasive ear surgery training at Harvard University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Whitley has privileges at Children\u2019s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston and Northside Hospital as well as Northside Cherokee\/Towne Lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of medicine, Dr. Whitley enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons and playing various musical instruments, especially guitar and piano. He also loves Georgia football (Go Dawgs). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
